I guess my feeling is that anyone who thinks there is such a thing as privacy in this day and age pretty much lives in a dream world. If you don't want it known, don't type it.
Typing my name brings up the usual work related items from here at Grant County to Kenton and Indiana. I was surprised it brought up an inquiry to craig's list, though. See what I mean? I am surprised it doesn't bring up ebay bids! There were several posts to PUBLIB over the years. When I put in Susan Calloway I found out that I am an accomplished musician! I wish!!
Just as we taught 'netiquette' years ago, somone should be teaching all these folks who blog and post that the information may haunt them for years to come. Employers only have to type in a name in Google or Face Book to get an idea of the type of person they are. Rants and raves could possibly knock you out of a job possibility.
